MISSION STATEMENT
The Fire Chiefs Association of Santa Barbara County is committed to enhance Fire and Emergency Services through leadership and collaboration for the communities we serve.
As an adjunct body of the Fire Chiefs Association of Santa Barbara County, the Santa Barbara County Training Officers Association mission is to maximize operational readiness among the county's fire service personnel. In achieving our mission, the Association's goals are to identify training needs, acquire cost-effective courses and instructors, and provide firefighters access to those courses.

06/17/2019 Confined Space Rescue Tech June 17-21 2019. This is a 40-hour course which provides classroom and hands on training for technician level rescues in confined spaces. This includes; hazard recognition, assessment and mitigation for victim access and rescue. Meets the State Fire Marshall Confined Space Rescue Technician course curriculum.
